Hi, I’m Morten Carstensen, Founder & CEO of OLM Business Solutions and an international recruiter with more than eight years of experience helping companies find the right people—and helping candidates avoid the usual job-search headaches.
Every week, I review CVs, interview professionals and speak directly with hiring managers across a wide range of industries. In other words, I spend a lot of time seeing what works, what doesn’t, and what makes recruiters quietly move a CV into the “maybe later” pile.
Before recruitment, I spent six years in international shipping, then built and managed a manufacturing company in the Philippines for sixteen years, growing it to more than 250 employees.
That means I understand recruitment from both sides of the table: the employer looking for the right person, and the candidate trying to explain why they are that person.
This consultation is my chance to share that experience, give you honest and practical feedback, and help you position yourself more effectively in today’s job market—without turning your CV into a collection of meaningless buzzwords.

CV Example
Here's a CV of a French CNC setter (Régleur CN) based in Geneva. He has 15+ years' experience in precision machining and the Swiss watchmaking industry — including Rolex and Chopard.
Recruiters and HR Managers will scan his CV in a minute or two and move on to the next. They will NOT read 4 pages, trust me.
His CV is 4 pages, has too many bullets points on each job and the layout is not good. He is not good in conveying who he is and what he has done on the first page. There is NO photo and his education and language skills are on page 4 which makes it hard to review.
I helped him fix his CV and we came up with below on the right
Now it's easy to view and his 20 years of experience is clearly defined with dates on the right. His highlighted skills, language and education is clear and easy to read on the left hand column.
He now stands a better chance of getting hired!

Will you rewrite my CV?
No. I'll review your CV in detail and provide practical recommendations, but you'll make the changes yourself. My goal is to help you understand how recruiters evaluate CVs so you can apply those principles throughout your career.
How much is the consultation?
It's €199 for the 2 x 30 minute sessions. We will dig deep into any concerns and questions you have. Usually takes 40-45 minutes but that's still ok. What matters is that you come away with a clear action plan on how to search and get your next job.
